I'm a professional architectural drafter based in San Antonio, currently working with Resco Residential and Commercial Service LLC, where I use Revit daily to produce commercial and residential construction documents. I completed a Revit 2024 certification through LinkedIn Learning, and I've spent the past year applying that training in a real production environment, which means I can teach the software the way it's actually used on the job rather than just in theory. I'm also fluent in Russian and Hebrew in addition to English, having grown up trilingual, and I've worked through coursework in chemistry and algebra recently as part of my own studies, so those concepts are fresh for me.
While I haven't worked as a formal classroom tutor, I've regularly helped classmates and coworkers understand Revit workflows, troubleshoot drafting problems, and work through algebra and other mathematic coursework, usually one-on-one and informally. My approach is to start by understanding exactly where a student is getting stuck, then rebuild the concept from the ground up using simple, real examples rather than jumping straight to jargon. For Revit specifically, I like to have students work hands-on in the software from the first session, since that's how I learned it best myself.
I'm comfortable working with high school students through adults, whether the goal is passing a class, picking up a new software skill for career purposes, or learning conversational Russian or Hebrew. I'm patient, direct when something isn't working, and genuinely enjoy the process of watching a concept click for someone.
