As a college-level music instructor and experienced tutor, I specialize in music theory, composition, guitar, ear training, and music history. I hold a Bachelor and a Master of Music in Composition, which provide me with a strong academic foundation in harmony, counterpoint, analysis, form, and orchestration. I have over a decade experience in teaching and I currently teach Music Appreciation and Fundamentals of Music Theory at the college level, where I work with a diverse range of students—from beginners to advanced music majors preparing for exams and upper-level coursework. My experience as a graduate teaching assistant has also strengthened my ability to teach theory, aural skills, and composition in both group and one-on-one settings.

In addition to my academic background, I am an active performer and composer with expertise in guitar and traditional Andean instruments such as quena, zampoña, and charango. I offer personalized tutoring in music theory, composition, guitar, and ear training, tailoring each lesson to the student’s goals and learning style.
