PhD in Chemistry; Expert college and high school Chemistry Tutor

I earned my PhD in Chemistry from Wayne State University (2020), where I focused on inorganic, organometallic, and materials chemistry. I also hold a Master’s in Chemistry from Sam Houston State University (2015). With more than 10 years of college-level teaching experience, I have supported hundreds of students in mastering chemistry.
I currently teach General Chemistry I and II at Sam Houston State University, where I design course materials, assessments, and active learning activities aligned with program learning outcomes. My teaching approach focuses on making challenging concepts clear and accessible by using structured explanations, visual strategies, and real-world examples.
As an experienced instructor/tutor, I am patient, supportive, and attentive to student needs. I adapt my teaching methods to different learning styles, encourage questions, and foster open, engaging conversations. My goal is to help each student build confidence, strengthen their understanding, and succeed in chemistry.
