Hi! I’m Tyba — a Psychology graduate with a Biology minor, and over four years of tutoring experience. That role gave me the chance to teach everything from middle school math to high school biology, and to connect with students from all kinds of learning backgrounds.
My approach is simple: meet students where they are. I don’t just explain the material — I make sure it makes sense to them. Whether I’m helping with Algebra, Chemistry, English, or test prep, I try to break it down in a way that actually clicks. I also pay close attention to how each student learns best and adjust my style to match.
Outside of tutoring, I’ve worked in medical clinics and as a scribe, which taught me how to communicate clearly and think on my feet — two things I bring into every lesson.
