Howdy! My name is Satyra! I graduated with a Master's degree in Nutrition in December 2020. I also have 2 bachelor's degrees, Poultry Science and Food Science. I am working towards becoming a registered dietitian for the state of Texas. I am also a personal trainer and nutrition coach in my free time. I spend a lot of time motivating and helping others reach their goals on a daily basis. I have a passion for learning and always find myself researching, reading, or going down long rabbit holes to find solutions to all of the random questions that have popped into my head. I love everything about science and math and also love to read and write. To me, tutoring is about learning but also having a fun and positive experience when you're having difficulty grasping a subject. I want the student to be able to confidently answer questions and also be able to explain how and why they got to that answer. I am easily accessible and will always do my absolute best to accommodate any student so that they can remain successful in all aspects of their learning career.

Math has always been one of my favorite subjects to learn and teach. I have taken many advanced math classes throughout my academic career.

I have years of post-secondary school knowledge. I have taken classes any many different subjects of science and have developed ways of teaching that have been shown to be beneficial but also thought-provoking. All of my higher education degrees are in the science and technology fields.

I played clarinet throughout middle school and high school. I competed with my high school marching band and concert band as well. I still love to pick up the clarinet when I can and play from time to time.

I am a certified personal trainer through the ISSA. I also have taken courses in sports nutrition and weight management. Fitness is one of my passions and why I became a trainer and why I am currently working towards becoming a registered dietitian.
