Hi! I'm Amanda. I love traveling the world, trying new foods, and seeing people grow. I'm patient with people and passionate about learning.

One of my favorite parts about tutoring is seeing students move from struggling with something to being confident in their abilities to succeed. We don't all have the same strengths and that's okay. But I believe everyone can learn and that we can use our strengths to work around our weaknesses.

I graduated a few years ago Summa Cum Laude from Texas A&M with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I'm certified by the state of Texas to teach 4th-8th grade math and science. I'm currently pursuing a degree in Biochemistry with plans of eventually earning a Ph.D.

I want to maximize the effectiveness of the time I spend with students, therefore suggestions and resources provided by parents or students are appreciated. I am easy to reach and will respond back as quickly as possible. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or to schedule a lesson!

Very patient and helpful

Amanda was very patient with me and constantly made sure we were on the same page with understanding the material. Our tutoring session eased my nerves about my exam next week and I really benefited from her walking me through different concepts. I also appreciate that I didn’t feel belittled even if my questions seemed dumb.
