Hi, I'm Roger! I am currently a Computer Science student at Texas A&M University. I specialize in tutoring mathematics, computer science fundamentals, and programming languages (particularly Python, C++ and web development frameworks).

I am highly qualified to tutor these subjects because I use complex math and logic every day to solve practical problems. Through my computer science studies and personal projects, I regularly build software and explore concepts like artificial intelligence—almost all of which require a solid foundation in mathematics. Because I use these skills daily, I can help students see beyond the textbook and understand how math and coding actually apply to the real world.

I have been tutoring for the past 5 to 6 years, primarily in one-on-one environments. My background includes volunteering for my high school’s math club, where I helped peers grasp challenging concepts, as well as privately tutoring younger students. I have successfully worked with a wide range of age groups, from elementary schoolers building their foundational skills up to early high school students tackling algebra and introductory programming.

My tutoring method is rooted in practical, problem-solving-based learning. Both math and programming can often feel overwhelming, so my goal is to break down complex concepts into logical, digestible steps. Whether we are working through a tough math problem, debugging a C++ environment, or mastering the theory behind a new algorithm, I try my best to tailor my approach to each student's unique learning style.
