Hello! I’m Emily, and I have been playing the violin competitively for 11+ years. Throughout my violin career, I’ve competed in various events and earned notable achievements, including achieving Texas All-Region recognition each year of middle/high school, receiving superior ratings at Texas UIL solo contests, and getting awarded TMEA Texas Honor Full Orchestra. I have played in orchestra for more then seven years, both string and full, where I've had the privilege of serving as concertmaster and playing solos.

Beyond competitions and orchestral settings, I have professional experience performing at weddings and other events, where I provide high-quality music tailored to create memorable experiences. In my free time, I enjoy volunteering to play in the community at places such as retirement homes or local schools, in order to spread the joy of music.

I have had over three years of teaching experience, specializing in beginner and intermediate students. I tailor each lesson to the needs of the individual, ensuring that every student progresses at their own pace and gains confidence in their abilities. I also incorporate a variety of repertoire to expose students to different styles of music and help them build a well-rounded skill set. Through my teaching, I strive to instill discipline, creativity, and a love for the violin, helping my students not only achieve their goals but also develop a lasting connection to music.
