I am passionate about teaching. Especially teaching Chemistry! I love that I have the ability to help students realize that this field of science is not as difficult as it is perceived to be. I love the opportunity to help each student find relevance in this area of science.

I have experience teaching in groups, Face to Face and on Zoom. I have the materials needed to be able to teach this course in various modalities. I especially love teaching one on one. Helping a student realize their potential in science gives me a sense of satisfaction. The study of Chemistry is a field that can help a student grow in many areas of their lives. I have also created educational and supplemental material in Chemistry. This material helps support a student in their learning process.

I have been teaching Chemistry for 20+ years. I have taught at the secondary level and at the collegiate Level. I have an undergraduate and a graduate degree in Chemistry. I studied Educational sciences for a Masters degree and taught GT courses for academically advanced students. I was an Instructional Assistant in the First Year Program at Texas A&M University and worked directly with the Dean of Instruction.

I also served as Dept. Head of the Natural Sciences for Chemistry Biology and Physics. I dealt with student advisement and complaints. I also helped establish the tutoring program at my institution.

I am confident that I can help you achieve your desired goals and grades for your chosen profession. I know what it takes to achieve the grade you need and am capable of helping you achieve it! Having a tutor is essential and should be considered a supplemental support system instead of reaching out when the material becomes tough. Staying ahead of the material can help a student feel confident and become more successful understanding the concepts being taught.

I am also available to teach courses in Math and Physics!
