Fernando has been such a great tutor to both of my kids. He explains complex topics in a simple, easy-to-understand way and he's always patient, even when I need something explained more than once. Thanks to his guidance, my children has been able to understand complex topic and able to pass their with good grade on their courses. I love his flexibility with scheduling and time he allocates for each sesion, if he feels like my kids needs the extra time to explain/solve a problem he goes the extra mile to help. I truly appreciate his knowledge and time, I’m really grateful for Fernando's help and would recommend him to anyone who wants to get better at Algebra.

I wanted to wait until after a few lessons before leaving a review and if you are looking for a math tutor, look no further. Our daughter started tutoring with Fernando about a month ago and was failing her 7th grade math class. They begin meeting 3 times a week and after only a few weeks as of today she has a 90 in her math class. She asked me today can she keep him as a tutor until she graduates lol. But honestly really impressed with his professionalism, the way he teaches her definitions in math, and has her regurgitate at the beginning of each lesson where they left off before. Truly an answered prayer when we felt like all of the math centers we had tried in person was not giving her the individual attention we knew she needed. Her confidence in math is through the roof!

My middle school son has been failing Algebra 1 honors since August. Every test score has been 40’s-70’s. Finally, I tried Wyzant and found Fernando. My son did a one hour session Thursday evening and had a test the next morning. He got a 96%, I almost fainted. Thank you Fernando!!!!!!

Fernando tutored my child in prealgebra. He went over basic math operations to ensure my son knew what to do to solve a problem. He helped him recognize patterns to help him solve math problems. I asked my son what he liked about him and he said he liked that he was organized.

Physics is not his specialty

I would recommend Fernando for math over physics. He is kind and patient, but physics is not his specialty. He needs time to review the material and refresh prior to teaching. Has a great attitude and very nice :)
