Last year, I worked as an Algebra 1 tutor for ninth graders at McCollum High School. This was a very rewarding experience and I really learned a lot about how students learn math. Additionally, the high school I went to was very small. This awarded me the opportunity to have a Spanish class with only one other student and the teacher. We were all girls and got tons of practice speaking Spanish. I am now fluent in Spanish and love teaching it to others.
