I am a certified English Language Arts and TESOL educator with several years of experience teaching students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. I hold a bachelor’s degree in English and a Master of Arts in Teaching with a TESOL concentration. Throughout my career, I have worked with middle school, high school, and adult learners in both classroom and one-on-one settings. My experience includes teaching English Language Arts, academic writing, reading comprehension, and English as a Second Language to multilingual learners at varying proficiency levels. I have also supported professionals and adult learners seeking to improve their Business English, pronunciation, and conversational fluency.

My teaching approach is student-centered, structured, and supportive. I focus on building confidence while strengthening core language skills such as grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking. For academic students, I provide targeted support in essay writing, literary analysis, reading comprehension, and study skills. For adult and professional learners, I design lessons that improve workplace communication, presentation skills, interview preparation, and accent clarity. I use clear modeling, guided practice, and real-world application to ensure that students can immediately apply what they learn.

I have taught in public schools, private language programs, and small group settings, and I am comfortable working with learners ranging from upper elementary students to adults. My goal is always to meet students where they are and help them grow with confidence. I create a welcoming and encouraging learning environment while maintaining high expectations and personalized support so each student can reach their language and academic goals.
