Hi, you can call me Bry!

I graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Information Science and a minor in East Asian Studies. In high school, I completed 15 AP classes, earned recognition as an AP Scholar with Distinction, graduated with a 5.09 weighted GPA, and scored a 34 on the ACT. But here’s what I’ve learned: admissions success is not only about numbers. It’s about narrative, strategy, and clarity.

I applied independently to 17+ colleges, researched each one deeply, and learned how to position myself authentically while still standing out. Since then, I’ve guided siblings, friends, and students into schools like MIT, Northwestern, and Cornell by helping them discover their unique stories and translate them into applications that resonate.

My philosophy is simple: every student has a story worth telling. I don’t just edit essays. I work with students to highlight their individuality, frame challenges as strengths, and build applications that show both authenticity and ambition. From brainstorming ideas to polishing final drafts, from organizing activity lists to mapping school strategies, I’m there to bring structure, confidence, and clarity.

Here’s how I support my students:

- Essay Writing & Editing: Personal statements, supplements, scholarships, and program applications.

- Admissions Strategy: School selection, timelines, and early vs. regular decision planning.

- Skill Building: Reading comprehension, analytical writing, and storytelling techniques.

As a recent graduate, I know how the college admissions process is evolving, especially in today’s rapidly changing landscape. From shifting test policies to an increased emphasis on holistic review, I bring fresh, relevant insight into how applications are actually evaluated right now.

My goal is to help students build applications that reflect their real strengths and give them a genuine shot at their dream schools, in whatever position they are in. Let's get you to your next school and home!

College Counseling

College Counseling

I am a recent Cornell University graduate who has guided students into schools like MIT, Northwestern, and Cornell. In high school, I completed 15 AP courses, earned AP Scholar with Distinction, graduated with a 5.09 weighted GPA, and scored a 34 on the ACT. However, I know that admissions success is about more than numbers. My specialty is helping students who don’t have the most “impressive” stats build applications and stories that highlight their individuality and strengths. With fresh insight into today’s changing admissions landscape, I provide students with clear strategies, authentic essays, and the confidence to apply to their dream schools.
Essay Writing

Essay Writing

I specialize in helping students transform their writing into clear, compelling, and authentic essays. My own writing has opened doors to Cornell University and competitive opportunities there, including selective program housing and teaching assistant roles. I’ve also guided students in crafting essays that earned admission to elite universities like MIT, Northwestern, and Cornell. Whether it’s academic essays, personal statements, or scholarship applications, I teach students how to develop strong arguments, refine their structure, and write with confidence.
General Music

General Music

I have over 8 years of formal training in piano and music theory, and I successfully completed all levels of the AIM (Achievement in Music) exam. My background gives me a strong foundation in classical music, but I also enjoy exploring contemporary styles and creative approaches to music. I help students with general music skills such as theory, reading notation, ear training, and music appreciation, while also encouraging them to connect with genres they love — from classical to video game soundtracks. My goal is to make music both approachable and inspiring, whether for school, personal growth, or creative expression.
Information Technology

Information Technology

I graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Information Science, concentrating in UX design and digital policy. I served as a teaching assistant for a digital product design course, where I guided students through the entire design cycle — from brainstorming to prototyping an app feature. I am skilled in Figma, wireframing, and prototyping, and I can also support students in building professional UX portfolios, websites, and case studies. Whether you’re new to UX or looking to refine your design skills, I can help you approach projects with both creativity and structure.
Interview Prep

Interview Prep

I help students prepare for interviews with clarity, confidence, and strong storytelling. My own interviews earned me admission to Cornell as well as competitive opportunities during college — from selective music program housing to teaching assistant roles in product design. I’ve also guided students through college admissions interviews and program applications, showing them how to highlight their strengths and turn experiences into memorable stories. Whether it’s for college, internships, or selective programs, I focus on practical strategies, mock interviews, and feedback that help students stand out.
Personal Statements

Personal Statements

I have helped students craft personal statements that earned admission to elite universities including MIT, Northwestern, and Cornell. Beyond my students’ successes, my own essays opened doors to competitive opportunities at Cornell — from selective music program housing to serving as a teaching assistant in product design. I understand how to frame a student’s experiences, whether academic, extracurricular, or personal, into narratives that feel authentic and impactful. My goal is to guide students in uncovering their unique voice and building statements that truly stand out in a crowded applicant pool.
Piano

Piano

I studied piano and music theory for over 8 years and successfully passed all levels of the AIM (Achievement in Music) exam. My foundation is in classical piano, where I focus on technique, expression, and building strong musical fundamentals. At the same time, I love exploring contemporary and creative pieces, especially video game soundtracks, to help students connect with music they’re passionate about. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, I aim to make lessons both structured and enjoyable, balancing discipline with creativity.
