Before medical school, I served as a Teach For America Corps Member and worked as a certified classroom teacher in Texas for two years. That experience taught me how to break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps and adapt my teaching style to different learning needs and personalities. I can help students with MCAT CARS strategy and passage analysis, science section test-taking approaches, study scheduling and accountability, content review and high-yield concepts, test anxiety and timing strategies, and general pre-med advising and study skills.
As both an experienced educator and former pre-med who suffered the stress of taking the MCAT, I understand the exam from the perspectives of both student and teacher. My goal is not only to help students improve their scores, but also to help them become more confident and efficient learners throughout the process.
