I am a PhD student at Utah State University. I have an extensive background in teaching, tutoring, and doing high level mathematics, and am proficient at teaching all mathematics. I have completed my undergraduate degree at University of Texas at Arlington, an R1 research institution. My main approach to tutoring is an inquiry approach - the student explores excellent lessons in mathematics, and is coached into discovering big math ideas.

The main approach to tutoring will involve some "chalk talk," with carefully selected and designed math questions that we will talk about until we discover the cool thing about the problem. Mathematics is a fun and collaborative journey, and my tutoring style reflects that.
