I love to use games, technology, and hands-on activities to engage my students. I have spent the majority of my time in education working as a classroom teacher in Fifth Grade English Language Arts and Reading. However, I have also worked with students in K-4. My focus has always been on strengthening skills necessary for success in Language Arts and Reading. I love to see a student begin to believe that he/she can do what it takes to be a great reader. I believe learning should be fun. That is why I make it a priority to create student-centered learning activities that keep kiddos engaged and promote success both in and out of the classroom.
