Hi! My name is Phuc, but you can call me Phil. I’m a third-year Mathematics major at Texas A&M University. I specialize in tutoring the full range of high school math, from Algebra through Calculus, as well as foundational college topics, and I enjoy helping students understand math in a clear, calm, and confidence-building way.

From my experience, many students struggle with math not because they lack ability, but because the material hasn’t been explained in a way that truly makes sense to them. In my sessions, I focus on breaking concepts down step by step and helping students understand the reasoning behind each step instead of memorizing procedures. My goal is to make math feel logical, manageable, and even enjoyable.

I’ve spent a lot of time helping classmates and friends prepare for exams and work through difficult topics, and I’ve learned how important patience and encouragement are in the learning process. I aim to create a comfortable environment where students feel safe asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence at their own pace.
