Hi, I'm Samantha! I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. I was also part of a conditional medical school program at A&M and completed all my pre-med prerequisites, including taking the MCAT. Although I ultimately chose a career in management consulting, I’ve always been passionate about education and helping others learn and grow.
I’ve tutored high school Chemistry and SAT/ACT prep, and I enjoy encouraging students to believe in themselves and reach their full potential. During college, I worked one-on-one with students as a Student Worker at the Community Learning Centers and as a grader and teaching assistant for Industrial and Systems Engineering courses. I also volunteered with students ages 8 to 15, which helped me learn how to connect with learners at different stages and adapt to their individual needs.
I love tutoring because I find it incredibly rewarding to help students gain confidence and see the progress they’re capable of. Whether it’s mastering a tough concept or improving their test scores, I’m always excited to celebrate those “aha” moments with them.
