I'm Stephanie and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree from Grand Canyon University. My major was Elementary Education. While attending school online, I realized that there is so much that can be done electronically. I talked to my superintendent about online tutoring, and he referred Wyzant. Attending college online can be challenging, and I feel as if online tutoring could be beneficial for those students. Online tutoring can also benefit elementary and secondary students as they can sit comfortably at home and not have to spend extra time sitting the classroom.

I have 5 years of tutoring experience. I have tutored after school in both a group and one-on-one setting. I have been employed at the same school since 2012. I first became the librarian, and while I loved that position, I decided to go back to college for a degree in education. I have been teaching 6-8 English Language Arts and Reading since 2019. I am currently attending Tarleton State University to obtain my Master's in English degree.

I use many strategies for my students in both the classroom and during tutoring. I utilize a variety of reading and writing strategies that differentiate learning. I like to keep in mind the differences in learning styles and apply that to my lesson plans. I am willing to tutor any ages because the strategies I can provide can help any age group.
