Hello! I'm Stephanie S., M.S., CALP, a Certified Academic Language Practitioner (CALP) and experienced educator with more than 30 years of teaching experience. Throughout my career, I have taught students in elementary and middle school, with the past several years dedicated to providing specialized dyslexia intervention using evidence-based Structured Literacy practices.
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Education and a Master's Degree in Human Relations, and I am certified in Special Education, ESL, Gifted and Talented, and English Language Arts. My passion is helping students who struggle with reading, spelling, and writing gain the skills and confidence they need to become successful, independent learners.
Every child learns differently, so I create lessons that are personalized to each student's strengths and needs. My instruction is explicit, systematic, multisensory, and engaging. I believe students make the greatest progress when they feel successful, encouraged, and supported. My goal is not only to improve literacy skills but also to build confidence and foster a lifelong love of learning.

Scheduling: Lessons are available in person and virtually.
Cancellation Policy: Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Missed sessions without adequate notice may be subject to the full lesson fee.
All tutoring policies will be provided by email before instruction begins.
