I am a native speaker; I have previous experience in teaching Arabic as a foreign language. I held private online and offline classes to adults and children as well. I've been teaching Arabic to adults online and offline for 5 years now. I also worked as a translator for EU office in Cairo. Meanwhile, I was teaching German as a second language in a Montessori kindergarten. As a freelancer I have 5 online students and had 7 offline students in Cairo before moving. I taught a lot of student all types and different ages and countries. I taught MSA (Modern standard Arabic) as well as (ECA) Egyptian accent. My main goal is to make Arabic fun for my student and logical as much as I can. I also believe in 2 ways learning. My student is a teacher as well. They taught me well how to deal with their troubles learning a languages and for that reason tutoring is fun for me as a teacher.
I have a long experience teaching Arabic as a foreign language. I also have more than 5000 hours working as a tutor.
I worked as a teacher of English for kids aged between 3 years to 10 years old for about 5 years.
I studied phonics at the Uni and able to teach them to young kids.
I am a flexible teacher. Before I start a lesson I always ask about the student's requirements and work on my lesson plan and discuss it with my student to make sure that all what she/he wants is included in my lesson plan. I also change my lesson plans whenever it is needed or required.
I can't say enough great things about Nourelsabah
When I came to this platform as a full-time mother and attorney, I was looking for someone who was knowledgeable, strategic, and could engage me despite the business of life. Nourelsabah is that and more. Each lesson is thoughtfully planned out and geared to my abilities and interest. Nourelsabah is reliable and is an expert at Wyzant logistics. I've just started my journey but I feel motivated that I'll learn Arabic as long as Nourelsabah is by my side.L, 45 lessons with Nourelsabah
Nourelsabah is a wonderful teacher who has taught my children so much about the language in only 2 months. Her lesson plans are solid, and she is always extremely well prepared. I highly recommend Nour, because she is skillful and knows how to teach anyone how to speak Arabic with fluency, and how to write with confidence.Sharlene, 29 lessons with Nourelsabah
Want an amazing arabic tutor, here comes Nour!
I love the way Nour teaches. Her lessons are organised but at the same time she wants you to be able to choose what you want to learn. Therefore at the beginning of the classes, she clearly explains what we are going to be doing and clears some time for you to decide on the last activity. She's very open-minded and is constantly asking about remarks to improve her lessons (which I never give her since I think they are a perfect match for me). As you would have understood by now, I am more than happy to take classes with this wonderful teacher, thus I highly recommend her!Sybille, 16 lessons with Nourelsabah
I worked with Noure for almost three months, twice a week and she was super flexible and patient. Tailoring the lessons and homework to what I wanted to learn while being mindful of my work schedule. She is AMAZING!Ashley, 34 lessons with Nourelsabah
Super energetic and organized
I love meeting with Nour and she is great at facilitating learning. She always comes prepared and one hour sessions go by in a flash. She is very caring and responsive to my needs.Nathanael, 7 lessons with Nourelsabah
Nourelsabah is exactly what you want as a tutor. She is patient and nice but meticulous; she doesn't let you get away with only partially understanding a text or listening exercise, and she refuses to just move on to the next item if she knows that you need to go through it once more. She also does a wonderful job assessing your abilities in several areas and tailoring the lessons to them -- personally, while my reading comprehension is relatively good and my writing is pretty strong, my listening comprehension is poor, and over time this has become a larger (and needed) focus of our lessons. I also appreciate that she is willing to go off script and encourage side conversations that encourage improvisation in conversational abilities. I highly, highly recommend her as a tutor.Eric, 41 lessons with Nourelsabah
Charismatic and fun
Nour is a very energetic and charismatic teacher, willing to adapt her teaching style to fit your type of learning. She is very patient and understanding. I have a very busy schedule because I work during the week and Nour has been able to work around my schedule to keep me motivated. I really enjoy having her as a teacher.Daniela, 41 lessons with Nourelsabah
Very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable! Was able to provide great advice on pronunciation, grammar, and cultural context of all material covered. Looking forward to continuing studies with Nourelsabah M. on Egyptian Colloquial Arabic and look forward to beginning lessons in Modern Standard in the future.Hunter, 14 lessons with Nourelsabah
Knowledgeable and teaches well!
She's been teaching me Arabic and I love the way she teaches! I was a bit apprehensive diving into a new language that I know nothing about (I'm a native English speaker and speak Spanish as a second language) but she is so great. She answers any question I have so easily! She explains things in a way that is easy to grasp for me. I enjoy our lessons very much!Aundrea, 7 lessons with Nourelsabah
Knowledgeable and energetic teaching style
Nour has helped me learn the Egyptian style of Arabic so that I can expand my work opportunities abroad. She is also well-informed about the Modern Standard Arabic so she helps me learn the difference so that I can remember MSA when I'm in a variety of settings. Nour is an excellent teacher. She is not just a person who knows Arabic and is teaching lessons, she really sets up lesson plans based on my skill level, and I have goals and time tables for my progress. With meetings scheduled twice a week, I have improved vastly in just three short weeks. My vocabulary has improved, my pronunciation, and my ability to form thoughts through combining easy words and learning just a few grammar rules, to make basic conversations a possibility. She is a great teacher for students who are committed to learning the language. The homeworks are all helpful, and she gives insightful feedback that is constructive and not intimidating. I have had great success thus far and am excited to continue my progress of communicating effectively in Arabic.Ashley, 60 lessons with Nourelsabah
