My name is Caden M! I am currently a junior (almost senior) at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. Currently, I am studying Communications - Film Studies and plan to graduate after the Fall 2022 semester. I currently work as a Writing Consultant at the Lamar University Writing Center on campus. I originally took the job to be able to make some money, but I quickly realized that I genuinely enjoy assisting students in the process of writing and forming a connection with them in order for to achieve great results. Over the past two years, I have assisted hundreds of students of all types and have seen many of them achieve high grades and begin to become great writers. Writing should be a fun and stress-free experience, and that is the approach that I bring to it.
What I enjoy most about tutoring is not only being able to help students improve, but also helping them become confident and enjoy the process of writing. With me, a student can expect a stress-free, calm, relaxed, and friendly space to learn, write, and improve.
I have spent two years as a college-level writing tutor. I also have experience with high-school level writing. I specialize in MLA and APA style essays and research papers for standard English courses and more advanced courses within Psychology and Political Science. I am well experienced in proofreading, grammar checking, brainstorming, and outlining.
