Hello! I am a graduate of both Texas A&M University (BA in English) and Lamar University (MA in English) with sixteen years of teaching experience in both secondary and post-secondary education. I have spent my career teaching 10th-12th grades, with the last few years teaching at the local university as an adjunct instructor in freshman composition and American/British Literature.
English Literature is my passion, and I am an expert in all eras of literary work, though my specialty is 19th and 20th century British and American Lit. I have also been a writing coach at my high school and led writing workshops for other professionals. In addition, most of my career has been spent working with Advanced Placement students at both the Language and Literature levels, and I am currently a reader for College Board for AP Seminar.
