About Barbara

Bio

I hold a B.A. in French with Distinction in Oral French (with first class honours, equivalent to summa cum laude) and also have extensive coursework in English. I am an accomplished speaker/debater and judge. My main events are extemp and congress, but I can coach others as well. I am interested in tutoring high schoolers and proofreading for anyone. I have two grown children and have worked with high school students as a speech/debate judge for 9 years. I enjoy working with high school...

I am currently a graduate student in French translation. I have an eye for detail and an excellent command of English. I made a high A in my editing class last semester. I have extensive speech/debate experience and have received awards for timed writing. I can work with your schedule hand have plenty of availability.

I have been an active judge in central Texas for 9 years and have judged final rounds at both TFA and UIL state tournaments.

Good experience
