Hi! My name is Marshala but I love going by Ms. Marsh for the kiddos. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with my Bachelor of Science in Applied Learning and Development with a concentration in Educational Psychology. I have always had a passion for working with youth. Since the age of 16, I have worked/volunteered for non-profits organizations to serve low-economic families and communities. I have tutored for programs like the Outside the Box prevention organization and UT Outreach program to ensure students have the ability to develop their strengths, gifts, and talents. I have worked for organizations like the Boy and Girls Club and Club Z as an after-school program teacher.
I really enjoy tutoring/teaching because I love building confidence in children. When youth can believe in themselves they can see that anything is possible when they put their mind to it. For me, I am a guide for them to discover the best parts about themselves. Education is so important to me especially being the first in my family to graduate from college. I believe truly believe knowledge is power. Can't work with you all and provide the support you deserve.
