Hello, I’m Jacob! I’m a 24-year-old graduate of UT Austin with degrees in English, History, and Plan II Interdisciplinary Honors. I am a published author who graduated cum laude with High Honors. Whether you need help learning the basics of the English language or you want to master the reading, writing, and comprehension sections of standardized tests like the ACT, SAT, or GRE, I can help get you there!

I have a year of tutoring experience for high school English students and SAT/ACT test-takers, and I have many years of experience in copy-editing and improving written works. Many have told me I have a fun attitude and a good sense of humor, and I genuinely see no reason why learning these skills can’t be fun and engaging for everyone involved.

Having received perfect scores on the Reading, Writing, and Essay sections of both the SAT and ACT, I am a winner of several literature awards, essay contest grand prizes, and specialized collegiate honors. I have written one novel, been published multiple times, and have edited literary journals.

As I plan to enter law school next year, I am focusing most of my time on writing, reading, and teaching others to do the same while having as much fun as possible.
