Spanish Lesson #1
Lesson went very well. My student liked Beatriz very much. He felt she helped him understand the work much better. One of the issues he has that impairs his learning is he gets a lot of anxiety and becomes intimidated by the work if he doesn't understand it and just shuts down. But after the tutoring lesson, he felt some relief and was excited by how much they accomplished. He and I even worked on a translation exercise and I was surprised how well he did. He felt good about too. Very beneficial first lesson. Looking forward to next.
