Since 2022, I have taught approximately 450 students as a high school chemistry teacher. Students who took my advanced chemistry and IB chemistry courses gained an understanding of how chemicals can store and release energy to form new compounds with useful properties. Everything that you can touch and see is made of atoms or a form of energy, and there is much for students and even professional scientists to learn and discover!

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Dallas. I have hands on experience in the field of chemistry as I have worked in the field of semiconductor manufacturing and I have also done research in computational biochemistry.

My philosophy in teaching is to present information in the simplest way possible so that it can be easily understood. It can be intimidating trying to learn something new when it involves technical language that is hard to understand, so it is my goal to help remove this barrier so that learning can be a much more fun and enjoyable process.
