For the past academic year, I’ve worked as a Teaching Assistant at Boston University for COM FT 310 "Introduction to Storytelling". Since I had my own discussion section, I had to develop the syllabus, have conducive workshop sessions and always keep a positive attitude when responding to student emails loaded with trivial questions at 2 in the night.
English is my second language so I know the issues a non-native speaker will come across. I can guide students to write effectively so that they can sound exactly like a native speaker thereby being able to effectively communicate.
I've worked as a filmmaker in two countries - Pakistan and United States. Not to mention the fact that I am a MFA Screenwriting graduate from Boston University so I understand to write stories that engage with audiences. So when it comes to screenplay, idea development or receiving for your next short film, feature or a pilot, I'll be able to address those questions.
I encourage you all to come to me for a diverse international experience regarding Film and English as a non-native speaker. I want to empower you by helping you write better scripts and communicating yourself effectively. I assure you we will have a swell time together.
