My tutoring approach varies slightly depending on my tutee's needs. I love using study guides, case studies, drawings/replicas, and good old fashioned conversation to help kick young nurses brains into high gear and really engage their critical thinking skills.
I enjoy going over disease processes, signs and symptoms, treatments/interventions, best nursing practice, real life scenarios, pharmacology, and more!
I feel confident in my qualifications as a BSN, RN, with real life experience, in helping guide nursing students in their nursing school journeys. Having tutoring experience also aids in my understanding and flexibility with students. I will challenge my tutees but it will all be while encouraging growth and expanding ever-evolving critical thinking skills!
