What I love about teaching is being able to share knowledge. I also love when things start to "click" for students - especially when it's an area they struggled in or never considered before. I especially love seeing the confidence they feel when they can see progress and begin to understand.

I've been working with SPSS since graduate school and statistics since undergrad. I teach both at TAMUCT, and I regularly use both in research.
I always did well with reading throughout my life and I still love to read. I want to help others learn and/or improve as well. I read a lot for my job (teaching and research).
I've always done well with spelling, and I constantly use the skill. I don't believe in relying on autocorrect or spell check. I constantly check spelling in my grading and in my own writing.
