Hey everyone, I'm Daniella! American Sign Language is my primary language to communicate with people around me. I graduated from a Deaf school and went to a university that consisted of few hundreds Deaf/hard of hearing students for a year and a half. I rely mainly on American Sign Language interpreters for school and work with Deaf people on a daily basis.
I also do several sign language projects with universities and Deaf companies. I have taught my friends how to communicate with me through sign language. At my work, I often teach customers how to sign few basic words such as thank you, you're welcome, napkins, water, and so on. I love to interact with people and I'm a people person, especially because I love to see them get excited as they learn something from me.
I strive to become a CDI (Certified Deaf Interpreter) so I can help build the bridge between Deaf community and Hearing community in order to omit the language barriers between the two communities. I was born Deaf so, ASL is my main language for communication purposes. I love to converse with people in sign language.
Feel free to contact me so I can help you reach your goal!
