I am a native Frenchman with Spanish blood and half of my family speaks Spanish. I have been a tutor, a translator for many years and I am a book author.

In addition to my undergraduate studies for a Bachelor of Arts Degree in languages in Paris, France, I have visited and lived on four different continents and on any given week I speak, read and write French, English and Spanish. I also lived in Germany for some time. When necessary for traveling I’ve also learned some Italian, Portuguese and Arabic.

I have tutored English students in France and French or Spanish students in the US. I have also worked for many companies and translation agencies on often highly targeted translations between the English, Spanish and French languages.

Over the years I have found that Western European languages often have similar patterns, logic and roots. You can use those similarities to learn faster and more efficiently.

Do you know that almost 30% of English words come from French and that about 1,000 words are shared by English and Spanish—we call them cognates?

I am a native French Tutor based in the US, a Translator by trade and a French book author. Over the years I have tutored a number of French as well as English students and I have worked for many companies and translation agencies on often highly targeted translations between the two languages. I have visited and lived on four different continents and on any given week I speak, read and write French, English and Spanish. I also lived in Germany for some time. When necessary for traveling I’ve also learned some Italian, Portuguese and Arabic.

Max is an entertaining tutor in French. He's good at catching mistakes and reviewing them during the lesson. He also follows up with notes which are helpful. He suggests study guides although we concentrate more on conversational and business French.
