I have taught college-level courses in engineering mechanics, physics, algebra, and math fundamentals. I have tutored college engineering students, high school and middle school students, and I have taught algebra concepts to 5th and 3rd graders. I enjoy working with students of all ages.
I specialize in tutoring mathematics and science courses; I cover math topics through pre-calculus, chemistry, physics, engineering statics, and strength of materials. I can also help students prepare for the mathematics portion of standardized tests such as SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, and Texas STAAR.
I focus on conceptual learning and teaching problem solving techniques. I can help students with test preparation and homework.
My schedule is flexible; I am generally available for tutoring every day from 9am to 9pm. I can travel to students and prefer to meet at a Starbucks or a public library. My base rate is $30/hour for in-person tutoring.
I look forward to hearing from you and helping you achieve success in your studies.
