High School through College Math Tutor

I’ve been a full-time high school math teacher for 9 years. I hold a certification in 6-12 Mathematics by the state of Texas. In addition to my teaching experience, I also tutored at the college level for 4 years, and have tutored many high school students one-on-one. My goal is to explain mathematics in a way students understand (and everybody learns differently) instead of just teaching shortcuts or mindless steps. Once students truly begin to understand math, they will be significantly more successful.
