Nice to meet you! I'm a graphic designer and illustrator (specializing in digital and alcohol markers)! I work daily in Clip Studio Paint and the Adobe Suite, with experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and AfterEffects with ACA certificates for Photoshop and Illustrator. I graduated with a 4.0 with a major in English at Texas A&M, along with minors in Japanese and Technical and Professional Writing. While in college, I edited a lot of papers for both colleagues and professors on their research and am well aware of the different writing styles and expectations for different classes and research journals.
Previously, I've spent 4 years volunteering as a teacher aide at the Houston Korean School, teaching kids mainly of elementary age in a classroom based setting (though I did spend some time teaching middle school classes at this school too). During this time, I was teaching Korean grammar and writing lessons, and outside of this school, I also tutored other middle schoolers one-on-one in math. My general approach when teaching is to establish an initial baseline of the student's knowledge, learn from conversations and example problems where they are struggling and why, and breaking down the topics and reviewing example problems until they can confidently grasp it themselves and be able to do it without step by step guidance.
