I am an elementary school teacher who is looking to tutor any early childhood or elementary school student in the areas of reading or math. I have taught general education and various forms of special education. I have extensive experience working with kids who have behavioral difficulties and/or disabilities such as Autism, dyslexia, ADHD, Emotional Disabilities, specific learning disabilities and intellectual disability. I believe learning should be fun and children will make the most progress when they are participating in hands-on methods. I can follow what you want me to work on with your child or create a program you approve of that prioritizes what Texas law requires taught in elementary schools.

General education (reading, math, science, social studies, and fine arts) early childhood through sixth grade
special education early childhood through 12th grade
The science of teaching reading
English as a second language (I am not bilingual but I do have experience teaching students who are having difficulty confusing their native language with English)
