Hi, I'm Gabriela! I am a passionate educator with four years of classroom teaching experience specializing in math instruction. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with students across multiple grade levels, including three years teaching sixth-grade math , and one year teaching fourth-grade math. I have also provided math tutoring and intervention support for students in grades 6-8.

I am bilingual in English and Spanish, which has allowed me to connect with and support a diverse group of learners. I have experience working with students whose primary language is Spanish and understand the importance of making learning accessible, engaging, and comfortable for every student.

My goal as a tutor is to help students build confidence in math while developing a strong foundation of skills and understanding. I believe that every student can be successful in math when they are provided with clear explanations, personalized support, and opportunities to practice.

My teaching approach focuses on meeting students where they are at and adapting lessons to their individual needs and learning styles. I enjoy breaking down challenging concepts into smaller steps, using relatable examples, and providing guided practice before students apply their skills independently.

Whether a student needs support with homework, strengthening foundational math skills, or simply gaining more confidence in math, I tailor my lessons to help them reach their goals.
