College Mathematics Student for Prealgebra and Algebra Tutoring

Margot M.

Hi, I'm Margot! I'm an experienced Prealgebra, Geometry, and Algebra tutor who takes a low-pressure, conversational approach to lessons that helps students feel more confident in their math skills. I encourage students to attempt problems even if they feel uncertain about the correct steps to take, and work with them to slowly untangle challenging problems into manageable, easy to understand steps.
I'm a current college Mathematics student in the honors program, and I have struggled with plenty of math problems on my own. I understand the source of confusion and the process of learning challenging things. With time and patience, I have succeeded in helping all students make progress in their math skills.
