Hello! I'm Noah, a Human Biology student at the University of Texas at Austin on the premedical track. I have a strong background in biology, chemistry, math, and science, and I enjoy helping students build confidence while improving their understanding of challenging material. My goal as a tutor is not only to help students find the right answer but also to make sure they truly understand the concepts so they can solve similar problems on their own.

I have eight months of professional tutoring experience with Ignite Tutoring, where I work one on one with middle school students in math, science, and other core subjects. Before becoming a professional tutor, I volunteered throughout middle and high school, helping elementary students improve their reading and writing skills and later assisting younger students with math and science before school. I have also provided private tutoring in middle school math and helped a student prepare for the TEAS exam, which she successfully passed. These experiences have allowed me to work with students of different ages, learning styles, and academic goals.

My tutoring style is patient, encouraging, and personalized. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to fit each student's needs. I like to break difficult topics into manageable steps, ask questions to check understanding, and provide plenty of practice until students feel confident. Whether a student needs help catching up in class, preparing for an exam, or strengthening their study habits, I strive to create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing as learners.

I believe the best tutoring goes beyond improving grades. It builds confidence and helps students become independent learners. I look forward to helping each student reach their goals and discover that they are capable of succeeding in subjects that may have once seemed intimidating.
