I have over 15 years of experience helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals through individualized instruction. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and have spent my career working in professional roles that require strong communication, organization, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. In addition to my corporate experience, I have extensive tutoring and teaching experience across a variety of subjects.

For more than six years, I have provided one-on-one tutoring to elementary, middle school, high school, and college students in subjects including English, writing, reading comprehension, mathematics, science, social studies, study skills, and test preparation. I also taught English in Spain for approximately a year and a half, working with both children and adults in classroom settings while adapting lessons to different ages, learning styles, and language proficiency levels. These experiences taught me how to make learning engaging, supportive, and personalized for each student.

My tutoring philosophy centers on building understanding rather than memorization. I begin by identifying each student's strengths, challenges, and learning style, then tailor my approach to meet their individual needs. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and are encouraged to think critically rather than simply being given answers. Whether a student needs help mastering foundational concepts, preparing for an exam, improving writing skills, or building confidence in a challenging subject, I strive to create a positive learning environment where they feel supported, motivated, and capable of succeeding. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to develop the skills and confidence that will benefit them long after our tutoring sessions.
