I have been actively teaching high school students for 6 years in grades 9–12 in a variety of classroom environments. Prior to classroom teaching, I worked in educational consulting, which provided additional experience supporting student learning and academic development. In my teaching role, I have worked with students in AP-level, on-level, and resource-level classes. My experience also includes supporting students with IEPs and behavioral support plans, where I modify instruction and materials to help students access grade-level content and build foundational skills.
My tutoring and instructional approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps, identifying gaps in understanding, and building confidence through guided practice and repetition. I emphasize understanding over memorization and adapt instruction based on each student’s needs and learning style.
In addition to classroom teaching, I work as an SAT tutor, supporting students in both SAT Math and Reading/Writing. I help students strengthen skills, improve problem-solving, and develop effective test-taking strategies. Whether students are preparing for standardized tests, improving classroom performance in math or chemistry, or building foundational academic skills, I provide structured support that helps them become more independent learners.
