Hey! I’m Ramiz, and I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at The University of Texas at Austin. I’ve been tutoring for over 5 years now, starting back in high school where I helped classmates and younger students with Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II. As I gained more experience, I eventually started my own private tutoring business during my junior year of high school. Since then, I’ve worked with hundreds of students ranging from middle school and high school all the way through college-level courses. My main areas of focus are Math, Physics, Computer Science, and SAT prep, although I’ve also helped students improve in subjects like History and Reading when needed.
Over the years, I’ve tutored in a variety of settings including one-on-one sessions, small group environments, and long-term academic mentorship. I’ve worked with students of different learning styles and skill levels, so I always try to adapt my teaching approach to fit what works best for each individual student. My goal has never been just to help students raise their grades, but to make sure they actually understand the material and build confidence in themselves along the way. I believe learning becomes a lot easier when students feel comfortable asking questions and working through problems without pressure.
What I enjoy most about tutoring is seeing students grow from feeling stuck or frustrated to becoming independent and confident in subjects they once struggled with. Whether I’m helping a student prepare for an important exam, understand difficult concepts in math or programming, or simply stay organized academically, I always try to create a supportive and encouraging environment that makes learning feel less stressful and more rewarding.
