I have a strong background in working with children and supporting their academic and behavioral development through applied behavior analysis (ABA). I have completed training as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and have experience implementing individualized behavior plans, collecting data, and supporting skill acquisition across a variety of developmental levels. My work has focused on helping students build foundational skills such as communication, early academics, and social interaction, while also supporting emotional regulation and independence. This training has given me a structured, data-driven approach to teaching while still allowing me to tailor instruction to each learner’s needs.

I have several years of experience working directly with young children in both one-on-one and small group settings. My teaching experience includes working in home-based ABA services as well as educational environments where I supported children between the ages of 2 and 10. I have implemented individualized lesson plans, facilitated play-based learning, and supported early literacy and math development. I also have experience collaborating with families and caregivers, helping them understand strategies that can be continued outside of sessions to support consistency and progress.

My approach to tutoring is individualized, engaging, and rooted in each student’s interests. I focus on breaking down skills into manageable steps, using positive reinforcement, and creating a supportive environment where students feel confident to try and learn. I incorporate hands-on activities, visual supports, and real-life examples to make learning meaningful and accessible. By combining structure with flexibility, I aim to help students not only improve academically but also build confidence and independence in their learning.
