I have extensive experience teaching and supporting academic writing at both the university and secondary levels. I completed a Writing and Teaching Fellowship at Florida International University, where I earned a 3.94 GPA and taught Composition and Rhetoric I and II in a college classroom setting. In this role, I worked with undergraduate students to develop thesis statements, structure essays, and revise research papers through multiple drafts.

In addition to classroom teaching, I have worked with students one-on-one to improve writing clarity, organization, and argumentation. My teaching approach focuses on helping students understand how strong writing works, so they can apply those skills independently.

I also served as a Teaching Assistant at St. Edward’s University in Austin, where I graduated with a 4.00 GPA and honors. My academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in English from Fordham University.

Beyond teaching, I have significant experience as a writer and editor. My work has been published multiple times, and I served as Assistant Fiction Editor for Gulf Stream Magazine, where I evaluated and edited submissions. I have also received recognition including a nomination for the Pushcart Prize and the AWP Award, as well as Florida International University’s Student Literary Award.

Additionally, I have worked as a Substitute Teacher for the Austin Independent School District, supporting students across a range of grade levels in classroom settings.

Overall, I have several years of experience teaching and working with students in both classroom and one-on-one environments, and I specialize in helping students improve academic writing, essays, and research papers.

I regularly work with students on essays, research papers, and college or graduate application writing.
