I have a strong academic background in the sciences and extensive experience supporting students across multiple grade levels. Prior to starting college, I worked as a hired tutor for approximately six months, where I taught K–12 students in subjects including chemistry, physics, and English. In this role, I provided one-on-one academic support, helped students complete homework assignments, created customized practice problems, and broke down challenging concepts into manageable steps. I frequently used whiteboards and visual explanations to reinforce understanding, which helped students feel more confident and comfortable with the material by the end of each session.

Currently, I am a college student on a pre-med track and serve as a teaching assistant for both general chemistry and biochemistry. In this role, I host regular office hours and work closely with undergraduate students to strengthen their conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills. I guide students through interactive practice problems, encourage them to think critically about the material, and help them develop strategies to approach unfamiliar questions. My teaching approach emphasizes engagement, active learning, and building strong foundations rather than memorization.

Across all of my tutoring and teaching experiences, I have worked with students in both individual and small-group settings. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. By adapting my explanations to each student’s learning style and using clear, visual, and example-driven instruction, I help students not only improve their performance but also gain confidence in their ability to succeed independently.
