I am a junior at the University of Texas at Austin pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Honors Computer Science and a Bachelor of Business Administration through the Canfield Business Honors Program.
I bring extensive experience tutoring K–12 students across multiple disciplines, including mathematics, computer science, and Spanish. I have experience teaching students through my time leading a Spanish tutoring program in partnership with Rice Middle School, providing structured lessons, instructional videos, and personalized one-on-one support. Through this program and other academic mentoring experiences, I developed the ability to adapt my teaching style to different learning needs, age groups, and confidence levels.
Academically, I have completed rigorous coursework and earned top scores on standardized exams, including 5s on AP Computer Science Principles, AP Computer Science A, AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, AP Spanish Language & Culture, and AP English exams. I also achieved an 800/800 on the SAT Math section and a 1540 overall, giving me strong insight into effective test-taking strategies and problem-solving techniques that I actively teach my students.
My tutoring philosophy centers on building confidence and providing consistent, individualized support. I work to help students feel capable and comfortable approaching challenging material by breaking concepts down clearly and meeting them where they are academically. Through patience, encouragement, and structured guidance, I assist students in developing both subject mastery and self-assurance.
