Hello my name is Yura and I'm currently studying Biology at UT Austin! I have experience as a private tutor in various subjects and I love getting to be a part of someone's positive educational journey.
I have 4 years of teaching experience varying from grade level STARR test prep to college level research and lab training (that I'm still a mentor for!). In particular, elementary school subjects (reading, writing, math), middle school courses (reading comprehension, essay writing, algebra), and high school subjects (AP test prep, biology, networking, shadowing, career prep). College prep organization and special focus on essays and personal statements is another important factor that I help students in!
In the first lesson, I first like to know where my student is at in terms of the subject and place goals for us to reach that are challenging but doable!
I would love to be part of your educational journey and give you the materials and encouragement necessary to progress towards any goals you have!
