I'm currently a junior at The University of Texas of Austin studying Electrical and Computer Engineering.
I have previous teaching experience related to swimming, but as a student to a younger brother currently going through high school, I find myself teaching in all academic aspects.
During my time in high school, I completed several extensive test prep courses related to the SAT and ACT, and am extremely familiar with how every section of the test operates. I received a 1560 on the SAT (800 in the math section), and was a National Merit Finalist, having achieved a 1500. On the ACT, I scored a 35 in each section for a composite score of 35.
Additionally, I was an IB student who completed HLs in Computer Science, Math: Analysis & Approaches, and English and SLs in Economics and Spanish. I took several AP exams, and my best subjects were Macroeconomics, US History, Psychology, Human Geography, Calculus AB, and both Computer Science courses. I received a 5 in every one of the aforementioned AP courses.
Furthermore, as a Computer Engineering major, I have completed extensive coursework in programming-related fields. I am able to tutor classwork/concepts related to Data Structures, Algorithms, and Computer Architecture. I have some previous experience with teaching elementary school students basic coding principles in both Scratch and Java. I am familiar with Java, Python, C/C++, MATLAB, and some assembly languages.
I would love to tutor you, and if you’re curious about to what extent I can teach, I will gladly let you know!
