Hi, I’m William! I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s in Planned Program: Paleobiology, and from Texas Tech University with a Master’s in Heritage & Museum Studies. Hi, I’m William! I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s in Planned Program: Paleobiology, and from Texas Tech University with a Master’s in Heritage & Museum Studies. As an undergraduate, I thought I wanted to focus on my favorite subject – paleontology – but I quickly realized that my true passion and skillset was in helping people learn new things. That’s what led me to museum studies, where I learned all about education outside the classroom context.
I’ve since put the skills I learned in grad school to use. In my museum career, I’ve taught small tour groups and large classes on subjects from science to history. I also have experience with one-on-one tutoring as a volunteer in high school, undergrad, and grad school. I even serve as a teacher at my local church, giving classes on subjects like Bible geography. Across all these fields, I’ve worked with all ages from elementary school to adults.
My special talent lies in testing and test prep. As a student, I scored 790/800 on my Math SAT and 800/800 on my Reading SAT. I also received perfect scores on Math & Reading on my GRE test. I received 54 college credit hours from AP and CLEP tests on subjects from Calculus to Chemistry.
As a tutor, I strive to provide a personalized experience for each student, helping you to achieve your individual goals. I am always open to suggestions on how I can better serve my students. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a lesson, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
